BEAUTIFUL JASMINE IS LOOKING FOR A KIND AND PATIENT HOME
This gorgeous cat had been living as a stray for several months before she consented to be taken in by one of our supporters. All the usual enquiries were made to no avail, and a visit to the vet showed she isn’t chipped. Jasmine is around three years old and we are told she is probably a pure-bred Birman so how she came to be fending for herself we will never know.
After caring for her for eight weeks, her rescuer tells us she is a very sweet-natured cat who loves being petted and brushed – but she is still quite nervous and hides at any hint of danger. Although she has steadily gained in confidence and now comes forward to greet someone she knows, whoever adopts her will have to accept that it may take a while to gain her trust and for her to feel completely at home.
Jasmine has now been sterilised, chipped (250269608815185), has tested negative for FIV and FeLV and has had both her vaccinations. She has also been wormed and treated for fleas. We think Jasmine would be best suited as an only cat in a quiet home with one or two adults who are home most of the day and have the time to build up a relationship with her. Once she feels completely secure she may enjoy access to a garden or outside space.
Jasmine is currently living in department 82 (Tarn et Garonne) but we can help her travel to the right home elsewhere in France. If you have the love and patience to make her feel she is part of your family, you will be rewarded by the companionship of a cat who is as happy and affectionate as she is beautiful, so please send contact us.
