Blanco missed out on his forever home – could you give him a second chance?
Blanco was all set to travel to join his new family when in error he was put in an enclosure at the SPA with a very territorial male who objected to the newcomer. Although Blanco wasn’t very badly hurt, his injuries needed continuing treatment so another cat made the journey north in his place and we took Blanco into foster to recover. He is now completely well and very ready for his chance of family life.
Blanco being in foster care has given us an opportunity to get to know more about him and the kind of home which would suit him best. He is four years old – a fine, healthy cat who is sterilised, chipped and vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Although not aggressive he is no pushover, and would be best in a home without dominant males, possibly as an only cat. He is affectionate but not clingy, friendly but quite independent – not a lap cat though he happily sleeps on his fosterer’s bed and has been known to snuggle on a sofa. Like many cats he enjoys a fuss sometimes and when he is not in the mood he will let you know so we think he would be better in a home without young children He is definitely a cat who enjoys going outside so a garden or access to countryside is essential.
Blanco is currently in foster in 24700 Montpon Menesterol but we are happy to help him travel to the right family elsewhere in France. If you have a place for this handsome young cat he is ready and waiting to join you so please contact us.
