Please meet this endearing PATCHLIGHT KITTEN with the most appropriate of names – ECLIPSE!

His markings are very cute, not a typical tuxedo, more alternative than that. But definitely suits his name, Eclipse… dark on the one side, light on the other side.

ECLIPSE was a tiny singleton found and taken to the Refuge with which we work in the week of the solar eclipse.   He still had eyes closed and vestiges of the umbilical cord – so very very young  – perhaps just a few days old only – and in urgent need of bottle feeding.  Luckily, one of our wonderful neonate fosterers was available and stepped in at a moment’s notice.   ECLIPSE was immediately surrounded by the love, safety and care he needs, has continued to thrive and is already turning into a wonderful cuddle bug!

Now approaching one month old, he is able to see his new world, finds it fascinating and curious, and is progressing well with his weaning.  His  fosterer says that he is a real “cutie pie”.

He looks like he is going to be quite a wee character – we’ll update  soon on his progress.

At six weeks old he can be reserved and ready to move to his forever family from 8 weeks old once he is chipped and has received his first vaccination.  Full details of the adoption process, including the cost, are included under “Adopting a Cat with Les Amis” on this website.

He is currently in foster in the Haute Garonne (Department 31).
