Sometimes it’s difficult to believe how some of these souls survive – but thankfully, survive they do.  Then comes the job of getting them into thrive mode and such has been the foster Mum’s task for these 4 gorgeous kittens.

Please meet THE ENGINE CREW – so called as they were found surviving in the engine of an old car.  They now go by the names of :

DUSTY – (f) tabby 

APRICOT – (f) tabby RESERVED

PEACHES – (f) tabby RESERVED

NIXIE – (f) black /cream

They were handed in to the refuge with which we work having been found in their bare surroundings and were estimated to be around 2 weeks old.   A vet check proved that this was not the case – they had teeth and were very hungry.   And so their age was put at 6 weeks, whilst their size and weights were equivalent to those of a two week old.

They had a mild coryza infection which was stopping them wanting to feed.   Treatment was most effective and they remarkably quickly made up ground, munching their way through 3 bottle feeds and 3 meals a day!!   They literally went from strength to strength and gradually caught up to where they should be.

They have been deemed in the peak of health, are now chipped and primo vaccinated ready to find their forever homes.   Sister Apricot is already reserved.   We don’t think it will be long before her three siblings are i that joyful position too.  They are all characterful cuddlebums with plenty of joie de vivre.

They are currently fostered in Hautes Pyrenées (Dept 65)
