SORA AND SUKI – WAITING FOR A HOME WHERE A BIT OF A WOBBLE WON’T MATTER!
Both female.  Born 20th June 2022

We really have to consider these two endearing little characters as an inseparable pair! They were taken into foster from the local refuge when they were about four weeks old and soon began to respond to lots of loving care, good food and one-to-one interaction. They are now confident, playful and affectionate kittens and have lived happily with an older cat while they have been in foster. Both kittens have a wobble when they walk which certainly doesn’t hold  them back –black Suki’s is more pronounced than tortoiseshell Sora’s. The vets tell us this ataxia, or wobble, is a consequence of their mother having had a virus while pregnant and is not in any way progressive. They can run (fast!), climb onto a chair or bed, but they cannot jump which makes them ideal cats for an apartment or maybe in a busy area where there is a secure garden. Because they are so well used to each other’s movement oddities and are very bonded we really would prefer them to be homed together if at all possible; they are chipped and vaccinated and will be sterilised before they go to a new home. Suki and Sora are being fostered in Toulouse but we can help them travel to a new home elsewhere in France.
