UPDATE:  BOBBY has made great strides in his foster home.  It was as we thought, he was a crazy mixed-up kid because he’d not had consistent messages in his learning.  Now he has he’s becoming the dog we knew he could be.  Because he’s a puppy still, he’s not a finished product, but certainly a pup you could be proud of and help to full maturity.  Of course he offers many of the advantages of having an older puppy – not least being fully house-trained!

BOBBY’ STORY

Please meet BOBBY who at the young age of 7 months is in foster in order to decompress thanks to our allowing a placement with the wrong family.

Fortunately he is now with an experienced fosterer and is responding well to the help being offered to him after a rough start.  This intelligent and sensitive boy is learning to be happy again, learning to understand what behaviour is required of him in a human environment and enjoying getting it right!!

BOBBY would benefit enormously from having a wise adult canine to follow and learn from.  It is easy to forget that he is still a puppy – not the 8 week chocolate box variety; but a nearly 8 month baby who needs his confidence confirming over a long period.  His confidence won’t be restored in a few days, but already we are seeing a huge difference in him physically and in his behaviour.

BOBBY is currently in foster in Department 31 (Haute Garonne) but the right home for him is far far more important than location.  He would suit an active family – he is currently living with several dogs, cats and very respectful young children.
