[socialicons]Please meet ALCAPONE (yes really!) – and anything less like his namesake you could not wish to meet. He is a gorgeous gentleman in every respect. Said on his ICAD to be “Dogue de Bordeaux” breed type – there’s pretty much only his colour that fits that description!! However we’ll go with that !!
It’s difficult to believe that this great, all-round dog, now 9 years old, has had such a hard life with his owner apparently repeatedly incarcerated. This has meant poor CAPONE has been bounced in and out the Refuge with which we work for well over a year. Nevertheless – such is the case.
He is just one fantastic, balanced, and still young-at-heart dog.
He needs a wonderful family to call his own where he can be assured of stability, love and the chance to have lots of fun and cuddles.
He is currently in foster and his family say this about him:
He is the sweetest thing. Such a cuddle bug. He’s my shadow and even has to follow me to the toilet sometimes and sit on my feet. This boy can’t get enough cuddles, but he is also very respectful if you say no.
He’s gentle, he’s silly, he brings his toys to you when he wants to play tug of war, or brings a stick to you when he wants it throwing.
He does this hilarious snakey movement where he’ll slide on and off my bed or the sofa, dragging his back legs behind him and then just wiggle around my bed like a little snake. He loves tummy rubs and scratches and he’ll give you all the kisses he thinks he can get away.
CAPONE is good with children, dogs and cats and will make one lucky family very happy.
