Please meet GRETA (was RITA) – a lovely Beauceron (Berger de Beauce) girlie who is doing exceptionally well in her foster home following a neglected life in so many respects, and is now ready to be considered for adoption.

GRETA came to us well under weight and flea infested but otherwise in good health.  She settled well in her emergency foster home and very soon learned to share it with 3 other dogs and members of the family, including two children.  She has since moved to a longer-term foster home where she is following a good country daily routine which even includes free running and her recall is really good!

GRETA has truly found her “joie de vivre” and is now very playful and affectionate.  She has learned a great deal in a short time and her basic training is mostly complete.  Hard to imagine but we she was not used to a lead – she is now.  Did not have any of the basic commands – she does now.  She’s a fast learner and eager to please.

While GRETA is on the small side of Beauceron, she is very balanced and a good weight.  Her muscle mass has improved and would be a great companion for anyone loving the great outdoors and taking long walks.  Although she’s OK living with other dogs, being an only dog and getting full attention would suit her down to the ground.  She’s much more attached to humans than she is to other dogs!

If you feel you can give this lovely girlie the happy and loved life she deserves, please get in touch by completing the application form linked on this page, or, if you are known to us, drop us a line at enquiries@lesamisdesanimaux.com.

GRETA is currently in foster in Department 31 (Haute Garonne)  but finding the right home will be far more important than location.
