GRINA’S story, like so many of our fosterlings, is an evolving one. Despite her age, Grina has undergone a huge development process, has learned a great deal of things she had never experienced before, and is without doubt a great little girl.
We feel this is the key to who GRINA is. GRINA is her own person and knows how to live very happily alongside you. What she finds difficult to deal with is being pushed into places and/or doing things she does not fully understand or is not ready for – and this includes mixing with other animals, being overly cooed over, or made the centre of attention. She would much prefer to watch from the sidelines first of all. She is one of life’s observers, a “look before you leap” sort of girl. Given this sort of space and respect, she is very easy to live with, gets on well with other dogs and cats, loves her human, and can be taken anywhere and not put a paw wrong.
GRINA loves the car, and will travel anywhere for as long as you like! She also loves to be out walking and is good on the lead. She is now used to living as an only dog and would happily continue that status quo.
GRINA came to us originally as a re-home having lived most of her life in one family but where it was clear the “younger version” was the preferred model. She came into foster with us so that we could get her ready for adoption, including sterilisation. She has learned and achieved much much more than that.
