Please meet HANDY – an old chap looking for that one chance – a home with a human he can really love and respect.  He’s not bothered about living with another dog (he’s fine with them but humans are his focus). This is one of the reasons that he is so sad in the refuge environment.

HANDY is a senior who was surrendered from an encampment as “no good” now he’s old.  This boy is far from “finished” – he is in good health, and walks beautifully on a lead, is respectful of other dogs, loves affection, and is attentive and wanting to please.  His bête noir are cats – so a cat-free home is essential.  This probably stems from his old life and it’s a bit late to change those spots.
