INUIT – looks like a big cuddly bear . . . . IS NOW SAFELY IN FOSTER CARE and is proving beyond doubt the description that follows.   We hope he will soon be ready to find his forever home once we are on the road to getting his weight sorted, having his eyes checked out for infection, etc etc.
Up until being rescued he had only known life on the end of a chain . . . . and he is 8 years old. So it’s about time he had the chance of a much better life. He clearly has some arthritic points that need attention to get him as comfortable as he can be.
INUIT has a lovely temperament, is gentle, quiet, gets on with other dogs, walks well on a lead and appears to be a very clean dog despite being in the refuge environment.
Above all he needs out and the chance to live a life.
INUIT is a x Pyrenean Mountain Dog (could he be crossed with a Golden Retriever looking at him?) – so weighs in at around 40 kg – not excessive at all for a PMD, but too heavy for what he should be.
