Lovely LEO was one of the gorgeous seven PLANET puppies from July 2025 who was adopted by a couple who absolutely adore him. However, due to the onset of ill health they realise that LEO, at only 1 year old, is not living his best life and have asked that we find him his new forever family where he can be cherished and live the life he deserves.

Luckily is original fosterer has availability and he has move in, landed on all 4 paws.  Settling was immediate, play virtually instantaneous, running around on the walk without lead (very safe area) – just an amazing wee soul.  And we use the word “wee” advisedly.  Now that he has grown it is very clear that he was the “odd one out” in the litter – and the offspring of a very different dad!  His bounce, his legs and his body length speak to teckel through and through!!  So despite his ICAD saying “setter X” he’s a very long way from a “setter”!  Obviously from Mum there’s a smidge of spaniel but Dad had  very strong genes!

His Mum LULU was a young springer X of only 10 months old herself who came under the care of Les Amis before anyone realised she was pregnant. She gave birth to a wonderful healthy set of 7 puppies and was a great Mum throughout.

This wee lad is great with other dogs, with cats, with toddlers.  Indeed in a moderately active family and with lots of enrichment opportunties he’s just a happy soul. He definitel;y would benefit from having another dog as company, as playmate and perhaps as role model as he steers through his teenage period!
