UPDATE ON MOWGLI:  Now has been sterilised, learning rapidly and has had a makeover – doesn’t he look great, especially the ears!!  During his makeover, at the vets and indeed anywhere he has been, he’s behaved impeccably.   He’s ready for a new home!!!

BEFORE – his coat was in a total mess – now it can be kept heautiful as it grows or simply kept short.

Meet MOWGLI (registered name MOGHAI) who was a re-home for no reason it would appear other than he was not house-trained.  Difficult to believe that an adult dog had not been given the chance to correctly learn about being clean in the home.  He went into foster with the express purpose of helping him learn what is required of him as far as home cleanliness is concerned and to be sterilised.  He proved to be a quick learner, a follower of others, and perhaps not surprisingly he was always totally clean in his crate overnight .

Now that his house-training has been achieved, he is available for adoption as he has never put a paw wrong.  He’s currently living with 4 other smalls and a couple of cats with no problems whatsoever.

MOWGLI is described as a CHORKIE – in other words supposedly a Chihuahua crossed with a Yorkie.  It perhaps would have been more appropriate to call him a YORHUA as his Yorkie genes are clearly stronger than his chihuahua’s.  His coat was a shambles upon arrival yet there was never an objection from him to being groomed and huge knots removed.   His foster mum cannot speak highly enough of him in terms of his behaviour and his little character is starting to come through.  He will not say no to an afternoon cozying on a lap!!
