[socialicons]Dear neglected NUSSLI – her new given name as she did not arrive with one – nor do we know if she even ever had one!
We think that underneath all her poor state – she is possibly a Griffon Nivernais. She has the same kind, gentle temperament.
Sadly however in her temporary foster, she is rather too curious about the resident cat who is also a foster and very nervous. So we are looking for another fosterer to pick up the baton and help this lovely girlie get to a state where she is in the best condition she possibly can be.
All we know about this sweet gentle girl is that she has absolutely been to hell and back and we are eager to help her. And it is transpiring that there is a lot to do.
- First and foremost is a full sterilisation to check that nothing nasty is going on there; removal of the “ball” at her throat, and deep cleanse of her ears. This is underway.
- Lab analysis to see what is going on
- Then we can tackle her paw and see what can be done there. It is undoubtedly untreated damage.
So far NUSSLI has been clean, living in the home and generally very amenable and happy. It is just that the cat is unhappy and that is not fair.
