We don’t often take in a dog who is completely ready for adoption as soon as she comes into foster but RHEA is certainly in that category!

Abandoned next to rubbish bins as a puppy, RHEA was taken in by a young man who has loved and trained her for over 2 years. Although devoted to each other, her owner’s personal circumstances led him to believe that a rehome was in Rhea’s best interests. Having always been an only dog, RHEA is now loving having a playmate in her foster home and she is proving to be a joy to have around. She is well-trained, intelligent, playful, good-natured and obedient.

Her iCAD lists her as a Berger X and her ex-owner firmly believed there was collie in the mix too! Whatever the mix, the result is a lovely dog who will respond well to any further training and who will return your affection many times over.  Weighing in at just 18 kg she is the size of dog many people look for.

Her one ear up and one ear down is very endearing and that perfectly matches who she is inside too.  It’s a rare opportunity to get the “full package” so, if you are drawn to RHEA, please click the Enquiry link on this page and complete our application form. If you are already known to us simply express your interest by dropping us an email to enquiries@lesamisdesanimaux.com and we’ll get back to you without fail.

Currently in foster in Department 81 (Tarn), RHEA can be rehomed much farther afield to the right family.
