Introducing sweet SALSA, a gorgeous 9 year old Setter X who is looking for her a new family, through no fault of her own.

Her elderly owner adopted her only three years ago after her previous family divorced and now he has been admitted to hospital and will sadly not be returning home.  She is in temporary foster at the moment.  Therefore SALSA is looking for her new family again so that she can live the life she deserves.

Can she be third time lucky??

This is the information we have been provided with so far:

She travels well in the car, sleeps all night and eats well. She loves her little walks and is very affectionate.  She needs a family with whom she can live her life, as she is not used to being left alone for long periods of time.  She appears also to have been an only dog in her life and so calm and correct introductions to new dogs will be essential.  That said there have been no problems with her with other dogs in the pension environment.

She is used to calm, so a quiet household may be the best option for her. She is a little fearful at the moment and probably doesn’t understand where her owner has gone and wonders what is happening to her . . .  again!  We hope that the time in her foster home whilst she waits to find her new forever home, will help allay her confusion and bring her back to her joyful self.
