Advertised on Le Boncoin as unfit for hunting, Les Amis immediately stepped in and got Sasha firstly into foster and then for an expert assessment of her problems.

Sadly for Sasha it was revealed that she had spent most of her life in pain as her hips were seriously dysplastic and bone was rubbing on bone.  The wonders of veterinary science resulted in her having both femur heads removed and after a somewhat protracted period of recuperation, she was “signed off” by a delighted vet surgeon.

She has grown to love her new family – is superb with children and besties with their other dog.  A match so made in heaven that her foster family cannot part with her.   Once she is well enough to be sterilised, she will be adopted.  Happy new life Sasha.
