The world feels a little bit upside down at the moment. The cost of living continues to rise, household budgets are stretched, and of course here in France we have the disastrous wildfires.  However one disaster does not replace another – it just trebles the problem.  Abandonment, cruelty, neglect – they all sadly continue and we are there to help.

To rescue we need funds to cover costs

We know times are tough for many people, and yet in the toughest of times, people want to help. And this is so very true for those of you in our “village” and so we ask:

Can you help right now?  

We see abandoned animals arriving at our doors. We see older dogs needing veterinary care. We see puppies and kittens needing food, vaccinations and safe places to grow. We take them in, we work with them and then you see them ready to find their new homes, or looking several years younger than they were.

What many people don’t see is what happens behind the scenes.

• Every animal we help costs money.
• Food costs money.
• Veterinary care costs money.
• Transport costs money.
• Kennel fees cost money.

Microchips, vaccinations, medications, specialist treatments, emergency surgeries… they all cost money.

The reality is simple: without funding, we cannot continue to help animals in need.

But we have something incredibly special.

We have our ‘village’ – a very special community.

Over 6,000 wonderful followers across our social media pages and newsletter readers.. These are people who care deeply about animal welfare. There are hundreds who regularly cheer on our success stories, share our appeals, and support us when we needed it most.  Some go the extra mile and already give regularly and/or welcome rescue animals into their homes

Imagine what we could achieve if even a small percentage of those 6,000 people were able to get more involved.

• Not everyone can adopt.
• Not everyone can foster.
• Not everyone can make a large donation.

But almost everyone can do something.
