Every day in Rescue is an interesting day, sometimes a happy fulfilling day, sometimes deeply saddening – but what they are never ever lacking is diversity and variety.  

Here’s one example of what just one member dealt with in messages and emails within a 12 hour period.  She writes:  .

It has been an interesting day with my Les Amis emails!  I had a request from a woman in Lyon who wanted to adopt a Ragdoll cat – the entire application was in Arabic!  Next came a ‘special offer’ from a gentleman in India for cremation urns – the message was in Dutch. Then someone up-country wrote worried about the fact that his cat may have become pregnant when it escaped recently and the landlord says he isn’t allowed to have kittens – what should he do?  This is in addition to the requests for help of the more usual variety (elderly neighbours departed into a care home leaving 20 unsterilised cats), and a foreign tourist who was on a bridge in Brittany (no further details given) and saw a cat which didn’t look well – could we go and collect it.  Some times we need time travel and a good supply of crystal balls – but always there when we can  be to help.
