Support our Seniors has been created to do just that! Formerly Be My Friend, we felt that S.O.S. really says what we are aiming for.

You may have noted our Senior Moment posts each Monday, helping to highlight the care and dedication taken by our Lifetime Fosterers and the animals in their care.

We spend a huge amount on Veterinary fees and, as you may imagine, the older or infirm cats and dogs – some who need specialist medical care – are among the highest.

over 12,000 € so far this year – THIS YEAR – which is roughly a staggering 133€ PER DAY

Les Amis des Animaux policy is never to give up – unless we absolutely have to. Our Lifetime Fosterers are a special group of people who take on these souls and nurture and love them until the time comes. Although they pay for normal things like worming or vaccinations, les Amis will pay for special medication, operations or perhaps special dietary requirements.

Sponsorship is one of the ways in which you can help. A monthly donation (the price of a couple of coffees maybe!) is a huge help towards helping us cover these costs.

Lifetime Fostering is another way. No adoption fees involved, just the capacity to love and care for a cat or dog (or both!) We have a full team of other LTF’s (as we know then) to mentor and offer advice should any be needed.
