Mia, we are told, is a very happy cat and gets on well with another life-time foster in the same home, a little dog called MONET. She is the ideal companion for someone who no longer wants a kitten, and Mia provides her LTF with a distraction, as she loves cooking for Mia, who gets a home-cooked meal every day.
Mia and two other older cats came into our care when their owner was very ill and had to return to the UK. She had lived with dogs so she was an ideal fit for her current home.
We are looking for more people to take on the role of life-time fosterers. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing an old cat, or dog, curled up on a sofa, well fed, warm, and content, knowing that, but for someone giving them their heart, they would be living their last few years in a shelter.
