🐱 A litter of four orphaned kittens costs between €865 and €1,295 during their first 8–10 weeks in rescue.

🐶 A litter of four orphaned puppies costs between €950 and €1,365 during the same period.

And that’s assuming everything goes smoothly. Many of the little ones who come into our care need additional treatment or medication, increasing those costs considerably.

Last year alone, Les Amis Des Animaux rescued over 120 kittens during kitten season. That’s 120 tiny lives needing food, warmth, veterinary care and a safe place to grow.

While adoption contributions help towards these costs, they rarely cover everything. Donations, fundraising events, auctions and regular supporters help bridge the gap and ensure we can continue saying “yes” when the next litter needs our help.

And there is one thing we provide that simply can’t be measured in euros.

When you adopt through Les Amis Des Animaux, our support doesn’t end when your puppy or kitten goes home. Whether you need advice, reassurance or a helping hand, we’re always here for both you and your new family member.
