‘Twas the night before Christmas
Cats and dogs in their beds
But then they heard Santa
Arrive with his sled
The dogs started barking
The cats told them no
Just all let’s keep quiet
Or else he will go!
They waited and waited
But went back to dream
Of homes with soft cushions
Of bones, meat and cream
So please spare a thought
For those out in the cold
Or those in the refuge
Too scared or too old
The New Year is coming
Perhaps they will find
The new home that’s needed
With those who are kind
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE
They say time flies when you are enjoying yourself! 2024 certainly has flown by and I have to admit that with a wonderful team of volunteers what we achieve in this association is beyond “enjoyment”.
We all want a safe and happy Christmas for ourselves and our pets so here are a few tips for the holiday season.
Let’s tip our hats again to the amazing volunteers who make sure our lovely cats and dogs get to their new homes or fosterers safely.
